The coat of arms is "Azure a hand issuant from sinister clad or holding a feather argent in bend sinister and in canton an anchor also or".
The hand with the feather is the attribute of St. Cassian of Imola, the patron saint and namesake of the municipality. The anchor refers to the name of the Zlatna Luka Bay (Italian, Porto d'Oro; Golden Harbor), today the largest marina on the Croatian coast.
