Fort-de-France

The flag of Fort-de-France (photo), the main town (more than 100.000 inh.) and administrative capital of Martinique, is white with the town's logo. The flag is flown near the biggest square of the town (place de la Savane), along with many Caribbean state's flags (Haiti, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Saint Lucia, Dominica...), a French flag and a European Union flag, and a "welcome flag", white with the word "BIENVENUE" and a border made of Caribbean state's flags.

Saint-Pierre

The flag hoisted in Saint-Pierre (5,000 inh.; 30,000 before the eruption of the Montagne Pelée in 1902) near the town hall (photo) is white with a blue coat of arms.

The coat of arms of Saint-Pierre is azure with a golden caduceus (image).
